2. Brooklyn Pride Exhibit @ Brooklyn Borough Hall (6/11-6/30)
209 Joralemon Street, Brooklyn, NY

3.13.09 Once again, Tsubasa took some great shots of my thesis show, so now you can see my new drawings ! Enjoy, and let me know what you think--I would love to hear from you. I am looking for employment and art opportunities which is challenging since the economy isn't so good right now. I'm graduating in the beginning of May so please let me know if you know of anything. xo

3.5.09 Where is the time flying to?
I just updated the design section of my site, which was long over-due, and I am seeking out jobs for after graduation (both design and teaching), so keep me in your mind if you happen upon anything.
I also just added my recent letterpress book, poppopisms, to the store section of the site. Get a copy while you can as they are limited edition! xo

2.4.09 My thesis show goes up this month...

10.12.08 Four more months went by, just like that! I've updated the site with my latest mural-sized drawings, thanks to my generous friend Tsubasa's fantastic photo skills. Cupcake may not yet be available online, but if you're in Berlin this month you can catch it next week at Pornfest Berlin.

6.4.08 It’s been a minute (or over a year!), hasn’t it? I have been busy with my first year of grad school, freelance design, teaching and new art projects. My new video Cupcake will be screening this Sunday, June 8, at the Newest in NY, NY and in July at Outfest in LA, CA. Check it out if you are in town. I am also working on a new series of mural-sized pencil drawings about memory and connection, which will be up in the next few weeks for you to see. Stay tuned for more projects to come.

3.23.07 WELCOME to the new em16.com! After a lot of thought about whether my art, paid work, and store should be on separate websites, I decided that I was tired of feeling segmented and redesigned my site to be a home for all of my projects. Now, you can find it all on one URL, including my web store, previously known as m16 handmade. This site is a work in progress and I am still planning on updating it in the next few weeks with better quality photos of my older paintings and more original silk-screens. Please check back soon.

After many weeks in front of the computer, I am happy to go public and would love to hear from you. Please take a look, drop me a line, and say hello. Send me your links and link up to me. Many of the links from my old site are now defunct and I’d like to network and share with you all.

Now that this site is done, I am free to take on more freelance work. If you like what you see, please send me a message and we can talk about ideas and rates for your own web or design project.
