NYC Administration for Children’s Services
In 2014, NYC ACS hired me to illustrate and design a 200 page guide book educating foster parents of trans and gender non-conforming youth. I scouted models of diverse backgrounds and created a design and text identity that were contemporary and accessible to both trans youth and adults guardians. I managed staff in submitting content, worked with them through multiple edits, and collaborated with printers to bring the book to completion. This massive initiative spanned a year and made great strides in the care that trans youth in foster care were able to access.
